PROBLEMS WITH YOUR MAIL?

Since the first of the year, after Dave our regular carrier retired, we have been having problems with our mail delivery.

I have been receiving complaints that mail is going to the wrong addresses or not receiving mail for several days in a row. Moravian Meadows Office has had the same problem as our residents with mail being put into the wrong box. Today my neighbor brought over my mail that was put into the wrong box. Not only the wrong box but postmarked that took eight days to be delivered from Clinton Township to here.

Weeks ago, I complained to the Mt. Clemens Post Office and was assured the problem would be corrected. It has not! Every week I get calls from our residents who are either missing mail or getting someone else's mail.

Today, after being hung up on four times by the Mt. Clemens office, I contacted the USPS customer service number and filed a complaint. If you are experiencing any problems with your mail, I suggest you contact the USPS customer service number. They actually answer the phone and return phone calls if they are busy.
